Re install the driver.
Probably an app have locked your CD drive. These apps could include disc packet writing software(allows you to use it like a floppy disc), compact disc burning software, emulators, Live CDs. Try eject in the app, quitting the app.



If the BIOS is detecting the compact disc but the OS isn't something is wrong with the driver. Try resinstalling the CD-ROM driver.



If nought else works you might have a phyisical reprimand in the drive, eg broken motore for the ejection instrument.



TO EJECT THE CD MANUALLY INSERT A PAPER CLIP OR OTHER PROBE IN THE SMAL,L ROUND HOLE ON THE DRIVE. THIS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE.
