my computer frequently hang up and when restarted the hardisk is not recognised.?

by repeatedly preesing find disk within bios it restarts.why?

your hard disk is disconnected..check the IDE connectors, the one next to thin wires beside 40-80 pins and the power connector..



remove your power source and check the hard dik if it is connected properly..



reconnect the IDE and power connectors and reboot..



if it still not well-known by the bios, check if the jumper settings are contained by the right configurations..if your hard disks are two or more, one must be the primary master, one must be the primary slave and so on..



if it stil doesn't work, conceivably your hard disk is defective and desires to be changed immediately..
