Yes

With nero.
Yes.

You of late need a Software pack that allows you to do what you want OR, if you own Windows XP Pro, you can drag and drop into the new DVD, and it will write for you
RW system read write

not sure what difference between -RW and +RW
You need software surrounded by order to burn discs. You can buy some unfinished burning software for as low as $9.99 at Wal-Mart.

I would recommend Roxio Media Creator 9. That runs $79.

Buy the cheep software first, see if it meets your wishes. If not then you can other buy something better.
u sure can.

it may take a different program to burn ur dvd's. try toast or other free dvd burning software. or u can allow ur "burning wizard" (if u use pc) to do the undertaking
stick it in and click construct copy
yes, you can. you should have a preinstalled program for burning cd's on your laptop. maybe sonic? shift to start, then programs, and see if there's a database containing anything that looks like a dvd burner program. or investigate for dvd burn on your pc.

polite luck!!
Make sure that with +RW you buy +R disks and not -R unless specified, they dont other work cross format.
yeah, and uhm RW means REwrite, so you can write to it and erase it and write to it again... i guess that "read write" guy think you can't write to a dvdR? lol i dunno, but yeah, it's a dvd burner, you just own to use burning software, if you're going to do ordinary files you can in recent times select them, right click, send to, DVD+RW drive, or doesn`t matter what it says the drive communication is (if you have XP) and window will write them, yay ;)
