my compact disc com and DVD player on PC are intermittently disappearing?

when i try to play a disc , nought is happening and i cant rip or burn anything from my medium player .... i check " my computer " and both drives seem to only disappear . then out of the blue they reappear.







any help out would be much appreciated thanx

Could be several things. Anything from a virus infection to both drives failing (it happens), a failing power supply to a corruption of Windows. In all honesty, the schedule of possible causes is too long to try to cover here, and the troubleshooting will nick a while. My recommendation is pinch it to a computer shop.
Chack connector on your motherboard and features ind device manager.
check surrounded by your BIOS and restore it to origional default settings, should pinch care of dissappearences of the drives
It could be a loose nouns or a virus. Check for viruses and remove any that you find. Afterwards, restart your computer. If that doesn't backing, reinstall the drivers (should be on a CD that come with computer), if that doesn't assistance, check the connections inside your computer.



I don't recommend opening your computer or messing next to it internally, unless you know what you are doing.
