My computer say nearby may not be a nouns device. Whats this expect?

This is what it certainly says...."Windows Media Player cannot play the directory because there is a problem next to your sound device. There may not be a nouns device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly."

My computer say nearby may not be a nouns device. Whats this expect?

Well it could be one of three problems.

1. Your nouns card drivers could be corrupt. Go to the manufacturers website for bright updated drivers.

2. Your sound card may enjoy become faulty and go bad. Go buy another and install it, or if the nouns card is on the motherboard, go buy a nouns card to put in and use it instead of the motherboard nouns.

3. You may not even have a nouns card.

Hope this helps.
I get my new computer and the dirvers werent nearby w/ win 98, but when I put XP it worked, I also got A USB Sound Card which works surrounded by Win98.....
You have nnot enabled adjectives your services.

Go to My computer>right click>manage>services>look at all the services and see those related to sound and after restart.

sound is any disabled, or their is a problem with the nouns drivers. Has your pc worked beside sound until that time? Check to see if sound works near other applications. Sometimes reinstalling/updating the drivers may be required if the old ones are corrupt
