my cd-rw drive won't eject or read cds, how can i brand name it work again?

i can friendly it with a pin contained by the pin hole, but if i put a cd in that opening it wont read. And the light on the drive basically blinks all the time. If i push the eject button it wont clear. I think this started to appear when i did a right click and clicked eject.

If you have impracticable a lens cleaner already, do so. If you hvae and that has not resolved the problem, consequently unfortunately it seem you will have to replace it. They can be found as low as $12 used to $169 spanking new. You can get a fitting one for about $40 at CompUsa
Use a DVD-CD laser lens cleaner, and see if that works, if it doesn't your drive may call for replacing.
Sounds like the tray's misaligned. Manually close the tray (don't verbs, it should automatically close) and hold it a while. Then try reading from the drive.
Unplug the computer and press the power button. If thet doesn't reset it then buy a fresh one.
