This is my first time building a computer, and I am not sure going on for compatibility between by parts, especially the MoBo and Hard Drive. Does anyone have a accurate Motherboard/Hard Drive combanation?
Motherboard and Hard Drive compatibility?
The question here be Mother board/ Hard Drive compatibility. Not mother board CPU.
The only point to make sure of is that your mother board is Serial ATA compatible to be compatible near the newer hard drives. The serial ATA Board generaly adopt an IDE ATA hard drive as economically so you will have both of those covered. There is also SCSI but I don't deem you are going to worry around that one your board will not take it minus an adapter card unless you send almost $400 just for the MB.
When building a PC you usually start beside the CPU and take it from nearby. Do you have a CPU surrounded by mind for your new build?
adjectives harddrives will work with adjectives motherboards - I think adjectives the problems re size limits et al hold now be sorted - just don't by a scsi or sata one unless you especialy want one
Asus Motherboard ( Socket AM2)
