I own a Westinghouse 1080p monitor. My questions is, it say it supports 1920x1080p/i as a recommended resolution for a computer. If I have it hooked through DVI will that work and can my graphics card support that resolution? My graphics card is the 8800GTX 768MB w/ DVI. Do difficult resolutions require better computer parts to run smoothly and if so what? Can I play computer games on it if it is wide eyeshade? Thankyou.
Monitor and Graphics Card?
You have the best graphics card available on the flea market right now. Playing on a 1920*1080 resolution shouldn't be a problem for the graphics card. Yes, you can play your games on widescreen. The solely problem is if the game doesn't hold widescreen support, your game will be stretched on the monitor so it'll look unpromising. Other than that, it will work.
PS: Try the native resolution converter on the properties so that when you're playing the activity and it doesn't support widescreen, you can use a lower resolution and it'll appear simetrically on the screen.
Yes, it will support,
