im have a problem with my window xp. there is no nouns and when i try to adjust the sound this pops up>>There are no helpful mixer devices available<<< i need lend a hand :(

I have a similar problem.my audio properties merely go away. It started up after a recent windows update. I enjoy to go to control panel...administrative tools...services...scroll down to and click on window audio.right click on it and select start.
