Personally, I would articulate XP, simply because Vista doesn't have adequate tech support behind it nonetheless, and compatibility with hardware and software could be an issue. (Vista is slaughterer, though, seriously awesome!)

xp. you really have no use for vista and no games work on vista. Plus, vista uses more resources so it will move slower on some computers. I enjoy it, I would know.
XP for sure, but good luck finding one. They come across to have dissipeared rotten the shelfs here
stick with xp, it is the best and problem free
its a resounding XP from me, I despise vista there are some 100 set bugs or something crazy it requires more proccessing power than XP and actully i feel that vista basically has a few features that your not likley to use and you don't capture 16bit anymore so know 16 bit aplications work with it, run, command prompt registry editor the dated games etc. and XP i feel is actully the better operating system by far and as more virus now will be to exploit vista as more culture will have it you will be out of danger. personally though i prefer linux though my wireless doesn't work beside it grrrrr.
