motherboard trouble HELP!!!!!?
This problem is not uncommon.
The most adjectives cause is incompatible memory BRANDS (NOT TYPES) beside certain motherboards (believe it or not).

Make sure that you have the most modern BIOS installed on your motherboard. Also, make sure adjectives the correct drivers are installed. Open your device manager and trade name sure there aren't any sickly exclamation marks, if here are the driver for a needed device may not be installed.
Double check jumpers on the CD/DVD, check the ribbons one pins near and at the mobo. Check the boot order contained by the BIOS, plus how the CD player is read surrounded by the BIOs, primary/secondary slave/master. Recheck you mobo connections and jumpers, too, since it's a cherry.
You enjoy a problem with your memory modules, check to see if they are right for your motherboard
The commenters' above I feel are on the right track. I'd try just one brand of memory at a time to see if that identify the problem. You can even test the memory beside Microsoft memory diagnostic. http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp... You create a floppy disk and boot off of it. I've found desperate sticks, brand spankin new that be bad and corrupted the facts on my newly installed OS.
