I cannot carry my computer to boot up, since a recent power outage. When I press the power button on my computer, the light comes on but it does not blink similar to it does when the computer is working. The monitor comes on but seems to be waiting for the computer to boot up. The compact disc door will not open. The admirer on the motherboard runs fine. I have checked every nouns to make sure that everything be tight but still cannot get the computer to boot. Does this nouns like a problem near the motherboard? The computer itself is the way that I purchased it beside no non-factory installed hardware. Could it be a hard drive problem? Or possibly a power supply issue? Any help next to this would be greatly appreciated.
Motherboard, Hard drive, or power supply problem?
question is - be the power outage preceded by a surge? it sounds like the power supply is still supplying power explanation lights come on and all. but because nought else seems to come up, seems resembling the motherboard is not talking to the other components. hence, it sounds approaching your motherboard was fried. sorry. pious luck.
IF there be a power surge, probably something must have fried. Since your admirer is running your power supply could be fine. Check the internal connections on your mother board.
