the easiest and quietest process is to get soft cooling.. its quiet and it will hang on to your whole computer cool as... its not immensely expensive and its good for overclocking so type it into any check out engine a take a look

At the E6600's stock voltage this probably won't even inevitability a fan on it.
Then if you overclock , donate a fan to it and see how polite it does.
